The AmericasMart Home Furnishings and Gift Show is fast approaching (it opens January 9), and Chandler 4 Corners is planning to take it by storm with 137 new designs in luscious hand-hooked wool. The new products, as well as old favorites, will be on view at their permanent showroom at AmericasMart on the 9th floor of Building 1.

Included among the new 2013 products—all designed by artist Laura Megroz, is a new category of pillows featuring poppies, sunflowers, and ferns in 14" and 18" square and the affordable horizon pillow. The new line greatly strengthens the spring and summer line.

One of the strongest categories—winter motifs—has been expanded and released for distribution earlier than ever before. Henry Chandler, president, says "The new designs in the winter collection—20—of them are already in the warehouse and ready for shipping. This is a direct response to listening to our customer's desire to have new winter-themed products available earlier, in time for the current season." Also in 2013, new pillow designs abound—dog-themed pillows always find a strong following, along with nautical themes, western motifs, and much more.

The ever-popular Chandler 4 Corners Amish-made stools and benches, topped with cushiony hooked wool designs, have been expanded with the addition of the “Sit” motif, previously a pillow and chair pad, and now a stool. The design features a friendly sitting lab and the command “Sit!” hooked into wool. Everyone will want to obey that directive! Sit stools, like all the Chandler, Amish-made hickory stools, comes in heights of 17”, 24” counter stools, or 31” bar stools.

Rugs have always been a cornerstone of the Chandler 4 Corners line and continue to be so with new designs, that run the gamut from lodge to nautical to a new 5’ round design of white stars on a field of blue. All rugs are handmade out of pure wool, dyed to Chandler’s own specifications and colorways.
