Merchandise in Clusters

Being able to see the range of C4C product in a glance is a powerful draw. Our product appeals to your customer’s passions so don’t short change them. Merchandising a minimal half dozen to a dozen products together provides choice and a lot more chance that the impulse to buy will strike. Putting them together according to theme, like dog stuff or Christmas stuff makes the connection even stronger and more meaningful. Use a long bench or find a big basket. Sometimes it’s just the joy of the hunt.

Get it up on the walls

We know one customer who tripled their sales by putting the rugs up like wall art. Right behind the cash register they hung a handful of rugs. Or invest in a small rug rack that will hold the runners and put it in a prominent spot. People will love thumbing through them.

Front and Center

We have a good customer in Maine (winter 2010 store of the season)who put our whale runner right in front of the register so it couldn't’t be missed. A vacuum every other day or so kept it looking fresh and she sold one a week during her strong season. Then when it’s run its course she gave it a final cleaning and sold it for 25% off.
